Where do you check out books?
I found some books I want to check out and take with me. How do I do that? Where do I go?

If you would like assistance with checking out books or other library materials bring the items to our Circulation Desk. The staff at the desk can check things out for you and also handle any questions you may have about when items are due, or placing a hold on an item that someone else has already borrowed.
If you are not feeling up to talking to people (we absolutely understand) you can check out items yourself using our Self Check stations. Just sign in using your X-number and date of birth, then touch the "Check Out" button and lay the items on the glass. You can stack 3 or 4 items at a time, there's no need to scan barcodes.
There are some items in the library that live behind the Circulation Desk, to borrow those items you will have to ask the staff at the desk.
